NAIF Pipeline as at end September 2018

As at end September 2018 NAIF has received 274 enquiries across a range of sectors.

 

123 of these enquiries are currently active and are across all three jurisdictions.

Pipeline Due Diligence and Execution phases

A total of 21 projects are in  NAIF’s due diligence phase. Information about the due diligence process is available here.

Onslow Marine Support Base Investment Decision

The NAIF Board has made an Investment Decision regarding the Onslow Marine Support Base Project in Western Australia, indicating to the Deputy Prime Minister it proposes to offer financial assistance of around $16.8m for a multi-user infrastructure port and marine supply.

Humpty Doo Barramundi Pty Ltd Investment Decision

The NAIF Board has made an Investment Decision in relation to the Humpty Doo Barramundi Pty Ltd stage one expansion of its barramundi farm in the Northern Territory, indicating to the Minister for Resources and Northern Australia it proposes to offer financial assistance of up to $7.18m for development of a solar farm,  a medium fish nursery, processing equipment and adult fish feeding systems.

James Cook University Investment Decision

The NAIF Board has made an Investment Decision in relation to James Cook University indicating to the Minister for Resources and Northern Australia it proposes to offer financing assistance of $96m for the purposes of funding of the Technology Innovation Complex, as part of a larger Enterprise Bundle which has a total project value of $174 million.

Pippingarra Road Upgrade Investment Decision

The NAIF Board made an Investment Decision in relation to Pilbara Minerals Limited indicating to the Minister for Resources and Northern Australia it proposes to offer financial assistance of up to $19.5m for the purposes of upgrading the Pippingarra Road, a public road located south of Port Hedland, Western Australia, which would be heavily used by Pilbara Minerals Limited, resource businesses and nearby pastoral stations whilst remaining available for public use.

Sheffield Resources Limited Thunderbird Minerals Sands Project Investment Decision

The NAIF Board made an Investment Decision in relation to the Thunderbird Mineral Sands Project indicating to the Minister for Resources and Northern Australia it proposes to offer financial assistance of up to $95m, for the construction of infrastructure including LNG power station and reticulation, site accommodation village and processing facility and also upgrading of existing local road and port infrastructure all to support the Thunderbird Mineral Sands Project in the west Kimberley region of Western Australia.
